Heating

The house has radiant heating (floor heating) and central air conditioning for temperature control.

Fireplace

There is a wood-burning fireplace in the living room. Firewood is provided.

How to use the fireplace

1. Open the damper (ventil) fully before lighting
2. Use kindling and firelighters — available by the fireplace
3. Once the fire is established, adjust the damper to control airflow
4. Never leave the fire unattended
5. Let the fire burn out completely before closing the damper

Safety: A fire extinguisher and smoke alarm are installed in the house.
