A Northern Öland Institution

Lammet & Grisen (“The Lamb & The Pig”) in Löttorp is one of Öland’s most iconic dining experiences — a family-run seasonal restaurant where whole lambs and pigs are spit-roasted and carved by chefs right in front of you. The Richert family has been running it since 1969, and it’s a beloved summer tradition for both locals and visitors.
The concept is called “Öländsk Fest” — a feast-style meal with the roasted meats plus extensive hot and cold buffet sides, all made primarily from locally sourced Öland and Småland ingredients. Vegetarian and vegan options are also available. Live entertainment on themed evenings adds to the atmosphere.
